When going from Hong Kong to Macau we found out that the best way is to go by jet boat from the main harbour. It was an inetresting ride and a bit of scenery along the way. If you sit at the front of the boat the bouncing on the waves is a bit more intense and fun. The boat moves very fast across the water on planes using a jet at the back for extra propulsion. It was a quick and easy ride to Macau that worked out well. We used the service four times with no problems.

Staying at the Galaxy Hotel in Macau was a somewhat surreal vacation experience with such massive buildings that were done so nice down to every detail. The Galaxy hotel is massive with many rooms, restaurants, shopping and a very large casino. Ironically the casino does not have a poker room yet is the size of a footbal field. The pool is lots of fun with many play areas for small children. The wave pool was ok but the waves are too small to surf or boogie board. Getting to and from the hotel via the bus was easy.

We went for dinner at the fancy Belon Restaurant which was very nice when visiting Macau. We were staying at the Galaxy Hotel and went next door to the restaurant with amazing views of the Macau and Cotai areas of China. The food was great ad there was even live entertainment.
